Whether you've been carrying something for years, your body is breaking down in ways your doctors can't explain, or you simply know something needs to change — this is where we start.
No diagnosis needed. No idea where to begin needed.
Registered Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience — in hospital rehabilitation, chronic pain, and the kind of therapy that actually accounts for how your nervous system works. If therapy hasn't landed for you before, the problem probably wasn't you.
Come as you are. Sweatpants encouraged. There's a drink in the fridge, fidget toys on the table, and zero judgment about what you need to feel settled. The goal is for this place to feel about as intuitive and safe as your couch likely feels, but with better outcomes.
Free accessible parking available · Virtual sessions available across all of Ontario
Two areas where Ontario Therapy is specifically sought out — and where depth of training makes a real difference.
For people carrying experiences that were too much, too fast, or too long — whether you have a diagnosis, identify with cPTSD, or just know that something happened that changed how you move through the world.
"I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become." — Carl Jung
Trauma-informed, somatic, and paced entirely by you. We work with the polyvagal system — the part of your nervous system that decides whether it's safe to be present. We don't revisit the past for its own sake. We update what the body learned and give the nervous system permission to complete what it had to interrupt.
Learn more →Chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder pain, chronic fatigue, panic attacks — these are often the body communicating what the nervous system hasn't been able to discharge any other way. When the alarm bells get ignored long enough, they find another way to be heard.
"Your body hasn't been failing you. It's been keeping count — and now it's making you listen."
This work draws on Pain Reprocessing Therapy, polyvagal theory, and somatic practices to address not just the symptom but what's driving it. The nervous system learned something — often for good reason — and it can be updated. One of very few Advanced PRT-certified practitioners in Ontario. If your tests came back normal and you were sent home anyway, this is where we go next.
Learn more →Think of it like a check engine light you've been ignoring because you have to keep driving. The body doesn't forget. It keeps sending signals. Therapy isn't about becoming a different person — it's about finally reading the signal and knowing what to do with it. Most people who feel stuck aren't unwilling. They just haven't been given the right tools. That's a training gap, not a character flaw.
When something overwhelming happens, the brain encodes a survival response. We find it, name it, and update it — with the body in the conversation, not waiting outside.
Pelvic pain, chronic fatigue, panic, bladder symptoms — when the body holds what couldn't be processed elsewhere, physical symptoms often follow. This is neuroplastic. It's treatable.
You are doing your absolute best AND there are more effective ways forward. Holding both of those is where the work actually begins — not one or the other.
One-on-one, with a partner, or walking the Tom Taylor Trail. Each shaped around you.
Whether this is your first session ever or you've been around the block — we start where you are, not where you think you should be.
Mostly translation services. You both care — you're just speaking different languages, and somewhere along the way nobody taught either of you how to actually feel your feelings and say them out loud. We fix that.
Sessions along Newmarket's Tom Taylor Trail — or a hybrid of walking and sitting, in or out of the office, shaped around what you need that day. Movement opens things that sitting can't.
For RPs and students navigating complex trauma, physical symptom presentations, or neurodivergent clients. Real collaborative thinking — not just sign-off hours.
Most couples don't come to therapy because they've stopped caring. They come because the wires got crossed somewhere. One person shuts down when they feel overwhelmed — not because they don't care, but because their nervous system calls it quits before their mouth can catch up. The other interprets that silence as indifference. Neither of them is wrong. Nobody taught them how to feel their feelings, name them, and say them out loud in a way the other person can actually receive.
This isn't a character flaw. It's a learning gap. And learning gaps are fixable. This work is about building the actual skills — to understand what the other person is trying to communicate, and to respond to that instead of to the version your nervous system invented.
There's something about being in motion that loosens what sitting can't. Sessions along Newmarket's Tom Taylor Trail — a quiet, accessible path where your nervous system can settle while we work.
Some of the most significant shifts happen when you're not facing a therapist across a room.
